BillSathi is operated by BillSathi Technologies, a software service provider based in New Delhi, India ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and the Company, governing your access to and use of the BillSathi platform, website, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By registering an account, clicking "Create Free Account", or otherwise accessing the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using BillSathi, you represent and warrant that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement
• You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
• All information you provide is accurate, current and complete

3. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not share your account credentials with any third party

BillSathi shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

4. Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, BillSathi grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your lawful business purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purpose
• Generate invoices for goods or services that are illegal in your jurisdiction
• Impersonate any person or business entity
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content

5. Invoice Data & Content

You are solely responsible for all invoices, content, and data you create, upload, or transmit through the Service ("User Content"). You represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to use all information included in your invoices
• Your invoices accurately represent legitimate business transactions
• You will not use the Service to create fraudulent or fictitious invoices
• Your use of the Service complies with all applicable tax laws and regulations

BillSathi does not verify the accuracy, legality, or completeness of your invoice content. We are a tool provider only.

6. GST & Tax Compliance

BillSathi provides GST calculation as a convenience feature. We do not guarantee that calculated tax amounts are accurate for your specific jurisdiction or transaction type. You are solely responsible for ensuring your invoices comply with applicable GST, VAT, and tax laws. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified tax professional for compliance matters.

7. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed by trusted third-party payment providers (such as Stripe or Razorpay). BillSathi does not store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials on our servers. Payment data is handled directly by our payment processors under their respective security standards (PCI-DSS compliant). By making a payment, you also agree to the terms of our payment processor.

We are not responsible for any additional charges, fees, or currency conversion costs imposed by your bank or card issuer.

8. Refund Policy

BillSathi offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time paid subscriptions only. If you are not satisfied with the Service within 30 days of your first payment, contact us at billing@invoicepro.io for a full refund — no questions asked.

After the 30-day period, all payments are non-refundable. Partial-month refunds are not provided upon cancellation; your access continues until the end of the paid billing period. Annual plan refunds after 30 days will be calculated on a prorated basis at our sole discretion.

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and materials on the BillSathi platform are the exclusive property of BillSathi and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.

You retain all ownership rights to the invoice content you create using the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. INVOICEPRO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

BillSathi is not responsible for any loss of data, including invoice records, client information, or financial data, caused by user error, accidental deletion, technical failures, cyberattacks, or third-party service outages. We strongly recommend users maintain their own backups of critical business data.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INVOICEPRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BillSathi and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Service Availability: We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime or major changes where practicable.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India. If you are accessing the Service from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored encrypted). If you sign in via Google, we receive your name and email from Google OAuth.

Business & Invoice Data: Information you enter while creating invoices — your business name, address, client names, invoice amounts, GST numbers, and bank details. This data belongs to you.

Payment Information: For paid plans, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

Usage & Technical Data: We may automatically collect technical information including IP address, browser type and version, device information, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, features used, session duration, and usage analytics. This data is collected to improve the Service, diagnose technical issues, and detect abuse. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you in most cases.

Communications: If you contact our support, we retain those communications to resolve issues and improve service quality.
